Chukkakura Pappu Recipe Ingredients

Kandipappu – 1 cup
Chukkakura – 5 bunches
Green Chilli – 10
Onion – 1 small
Curry Leaves – little
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder – 1/2 tspn
Mirchi Powder – 1 spoon
Tempering Ingredients
Red Chillies – 3
Garlic Cloves – 3
Asafoetida – 1 spoon

Chukkakura Pappu Preparation Method :

Soak Kandipappu in water
Take Dal into a vessel
Keep it on stove and cook
Cook dal till soft
Add Chukkakura into dal
Add green chillies and onion
Mix well
Add turmeric powder
Add mirchi powder and mix
Cover and cook for 5 minutes
After 5 minutes remove lid
Add salt and mix
Smash dal
Heat a pan
Add oil
Add garlic cloves and fry
Add Tempering ingredients and red chillies
Add curry leaves and asafoetida
Add this tempering into dal and cover
Now chukkakura pappu is ready
