“O Krishna, I do not desire the victory, kingdom, or the happiness accruing it. Of what avail will be a kingdom, pleasures, or even life itself.”
Killing someone is immoral, and killing a relative is considered even more sinful. Arjun was in a dilemma that what he will gain with victory achieved by killing relatives. By losing the people who mattered to him, he would not give him any joy.
