Jonna Pindi Upma Recipe
Ingredients to prepare Jonna Pindi Upma:
| Jonna pindi (white millet flour) | Â 2 cups |
| Upma rava | Â 1 cup |
| Green peas | Â 1/2 cup |
| Tomatoes | Â 2 |
| Onions | Â 1/2 cup |
| Green chilli paste | Â 3 tea spoons |
| Mustard seeds | Â 1 tea spoon |
| Urad dal | Â 1 tea spoon |
| Curry leaves | Â 1 sprig |
| Coriander leaves | Â 2 table spoons |
| Lemon juice | Â 2 table spoons |
| Salt | Â to taste |
Jonna Pindi Upma preparation method:

Chop Onions, tomatoes and coriander leaves finely.
Boil Green peas and keep aside.
Heat the oil in a pan, add the mustard seeds and urad dal and saute for a 30 seconds.
Add curry leaves, chopped onions and saute till the onions are transparent.
Add tomatoes and saute for 2 minutes.
Add the Upma rava and saute on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
Then add the jonna pindi and saute again for 2 more minutes.
Add the green peas, green chilli paste, coriander and salt. Mix well.
Add 6 cups of hot water, stir and cook for 3 minutes, stirring continuously.
Add the lemon juice and mix well.
Now the Jonna Pindi Upma  is ready to serve.
Serve hot with any chutney.
