Swine flu Causes, Symptoms, Treatment and Prevention

H1N1 flu is also known as swine flu. Swine flu is a disease of pigs that can, in rare cases, be passed to humans. H1N1 caused the respiratory infection in humans.

Swine Flu Symptoms

Swine Flu Treatment
There are some drugs available that can effectively treat swine flu. Two antiviral drugs are recommended for treating swine flu: the oral drugs oseltamivir (Tamiflu) and zanamivir (Relenza). These drugs can help you get well faster.

Prevention

  • Wash your hands throughout the day with soap and water.
  • Don’t touch your nose, mouth, or eyes.
  • Stay at home if you’re sick.
  • Avoid gatherings when swine flu is in season.
