Pudina Chutney Recipe

Pudina Chutney Ingredients

1) 3 Cups Fresh Mint Leaves (Pudina Leaves)
2) 3 tbs peanut oil
3) ½ tbs mustard
4) 5 curry leaves
5) 1 tbs urad dal
6) 2 tbs toor dal
7) 10-15 red chillies
8) 50 grms tamarind
9) 2 tbs salt
10) 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
11) Water to grind
12) 1 Garlic
13) 4 tbs Sesame seeds

#Pudina Chutney Preparation
1) Heat oil in a saute pan on low flame. and Add Red chillies and keep sauteing until they turn golden.
2)Add Some Water and Cook Tamarind in separate bowl.
3) Now Again Heat Oil add Sesame seeds and Cumin seeds fry them on low frame.
4) Now add the mint leaves and the salt. Adding salt with the mint leaves will help the leaves wilt faster and retain the colour.
5) Take the pan off heat after 3-4 minutes. By this time the mint would have wilted.
6) Now add the tamarind, add all above ingredients to the Mixer.
Once the mixture cools down, grind to a smooth paste.
Serve with idly or dosa.
