Methi ka Thepla Recipe

Ingredients to prepare Methi ka Thepla :

Wheat flour 150 gms
Bengal gram flour 100 gms
Methi leaves 1 cup chopped
Chilli powder 1 tea spoon
Curds 3/4 cup
Oil  3 tea spoons
Salt  to taste
Oil  for cooking

Sieve the wheat flour and besan separately and combine both of them in a bowl.

Add the chopped methi leaves, chilli powder, curd, salt and oil mix well and knead into a soft dough.

Cover the dough and keep aside for 30 minutes.

Now divide the dough into equal portions and roll out into a chapati.

Heat a tava, put the rolled out chapati on the tava and cook using little oil till golden brown spots appear on both the sides.

Remove from tava and place in the serving dish.

Now the Methi ka Thepla is ready to serve, serve hot.

It can be served for breakfast or evening snacks.
