Gongura Chicken Recipe
Ingredients Required to Prepare Gongura Chicken:
|Turmeric Powder||1 Tea Spoon|
|Cooking Oil||6 Table Spoon|
|Ginger||1 Inch Piece|
|Bay Leaves||3 to 4 Leaves|
|Cinnamon Stick||2 Large|
|Gongura Leaves||500 Grams|
|Onion||2 Large Thinly Chopped|
|Curry Leaves||2 Stems|
|Green Cardamoms||6 No’s|
Steps to Prepare Gongura Chicken
First Lit the Stove and Boil Chicken and Ginger Garlic with some salt in a pressure cooker.
Take Ginger Garlic and Make a paste of it and keep aside.
Now take a Pan and heat Oil and add all the Spices.
Once they start Spluttering, add ginger garlic paste, onions and green chilies.
Saute till it becomes Pink in color and then add Gongura Leaves and curry leaves.
Finally add all grounded spices and salt.
Saute till the Oil is separated from the mixture.
Now finally add boiled chicken pieces and saute for 5 to 10 minutes so that they are well wrapped with the Spices Paste.
Then add water for chicken curry and boil till it thickens.
Then add water for curry and boil till it thickens Now Garnish with fresh coriander or mint leaves and serve with rice or Chapathi.
