Vellakaya Pachadi Recipe

Ingredients

Vellakaya – 2

Tomatoes – 2

Fresh Coconut

Jeera – 1 spoon

Dry Red Chilli –

Garlic Cloves – 1

Olive oil

Salt

 

Break the vellakaya

Take out the pulp from it.

Cut the pulp into small pieces

Heat a pan

Add oil

Add Dry red chilli and fry

Then fry the vellakaya pieces with some oil.

Add tomato pieces into it and fry

Then add the coconut pieces

Cover with lid and cook on low flame.

When cooked remove from flame and cool it.

In a mixie jar add fried dry red chilles

Then add vellakaya pieces

Add jeera, garlic cloves and salt

Grind it into a paste.

For tempering heat oil in a pan

Fry garlic cloves

Add tempering ingredients

Add dry chilli, curry leaves and hing

Remove from flame

Add this tempering to the vellakaya pachadi
