Mushroom Dum Biryani
Mushroom Biryani or Mushroom Dum Biryani is a famous and popular recipe. It is favorite recipe of many people. Mushroom dum biryani is prepared with mushrooms in indian style.
Mushrooms- 500 gms
Rice – 1 kg
Turmeric – 1/4 tea spoon
Red chilli – 1 tea spoon
Salt – to taste
Ealichi – 4
Bay leaf – 4
Cloves – 4
Cinnamon – 2 small pieces
Curd – 1 table spoon
Ginger garlic paste – 1 spoon
Garam masala powder – 1/2 spoon
Tomato – 2
Oions – 2 medium
Green chillies – 2
Pudina leaves – 1 bunch
Butter – 50 gms
Clean, Wash and soak in water for 30 minutes.
Take mushrooms in bowl, add curd, 1 spoon salt, garam masala, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and ginger garlic paste and mix well and marinate.
Grind Ealichi, bay leaves, cloves and cinnamon into a powder.
Paste pudina leaves in a mixer.
Heat oil and butter in a vessel, add onions and green chillies, add little salt and saute.
Add tomotoes, ground masala powder and pudina paste, mix well and fry for few minutes.
Add the marinated mushroom mixture and mix well.
Now remove water from the soaked rice and add the rice.
Add water, salt and mix well.
Cover and cook till the rice is done.
