Mix chocolate bits into the cookie dough & bake — children will love

Makes 20-25 170 gm plain flour, a pinch of baking powder
120gm butter
100gm sugar
3-4 tbsp chocolate pieces - roughly chopped
1 tsp vanilla essence
Beat the butter and sugar very well until light and creamy.
Add the vanilla essence and beat again.
Sieve the flour and baking powder very well.
Shape into small rounds. Flaften slightly.
Add the flour and chocolate pieces. Gently mix in the flour and
chocolate pieces to get soft dough.
Cover the back of a baking tray with aluminium foil and grease it with butter. Place balls 1” apart.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C/350°F for 15-20 minutes.
